Coming from the east coast (Toronto), I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical about doing a co-op term at a relatively new company, which I hadn’t heard about till a month ago. Unlike some of my fellow co-ops, I didn’t have much exposure to the company before applying for the position, but it was the awesome product, culture and people of Hootsuite that pulled me in and it has proven to be one of the best decisions of my life.Like what you see?
My experience at Hootsuite has been an exceptional one. It offered everything I could ask for – an effective onboarding process, great mentors, inspirational talks, and most importantly, a great atmosphere to work at.
The best thing about working at Hootsuite, is the opportunity to be able to work and have a direct impact on a product used by millions of people all around the world. The trust shown by my managers and mentors in my ability to accomplish complex and challenging tasks was also very encouraging. That sense of confidence and freedom helped me gain some very valuable knowledge and experience while being creative and innovative during my time at Hootsuite.
Hootsuite is a great place to work at – if you like to be surrounded by incredibly talented, intelligent, passionate and fun-loving people. I would strongly recommend it to every single co-op student who wants to work on a super-cool product, be challenged, have an impact, learn and most importantly #BSU every day at work.
We’d love to work with you. Speak to your co-op advisor and check out our careers page.
